You are what you eat - a project of class 6b

That was the topic of our cooking project in December 2012.

Our class was divided in six groups. During the English lessons we translated recipes from English into German. Every group had to write a list with all the things we needed for cooking. We were allowed to buy vegetables like lettuce, flour, sugar, salt and other things. The problem was not to forget something.

It took place on 6th December. We met at 7:30 in school and first we got a surprise from Mrs. Werner - our class teacher. Every pupil got a book with the title: "Leise scheppert die Tür". Mrs. Werner read a paragraph and so it was a nice beginning of our day. We can recommend this book to everybody because it is so funny.

Then our work started. We cut, mixed, ate and cooked all together. In the pictures you can see it was  hard work and a lot of fun.

At the end of the day we watched a Christmas movie and ate our delicious meals.

We also want to say "thank you" to the grandmothers and mothers who helped us to have such a nice day.
